Collection: Green LDS Apparel For St. Patrick's Day

Do members of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (formerly Mormons) celebrate St. Patrick's day? Sure we do, we just don't celebrate with alcohol the way many Americans might. Many Latter-day Saints have Irish ancestry and honor their heritage on Saint Patty's. In fact, some of the early Mormon pioneers who crossed the plains from Illinois to Utah were Irish immigrants who joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in their homeland. Who? Well, you've got Charles A. Callis, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles for one. Then there's William Law, an excommunicated apostle who started an anti-Mormon newspaper called the Nauvoo Expositer; and in more modern times, we have Alex Sharpe, a member of Dublin-based womens ensemble Celtic Woman.

Whether Irish by blood or by heart, you can celebrate St. Patrick's day with our selection of items made by Latter-day Saints.
