Youth Family Proclamation Nurture Shirt with Crane - Short Sleeve Tee

The family proclamation is an aspirational document for lots of Latter-day Saints. This is for girls, young women, and moms who want to remember the charge given to wives in The Family: A Proclamation to the World. We call it the #Famproc, or when we're feeling sassy, just the proc.

About the design

The shirt says Nurture down the side, which is also printed in Japanese along with a Japanese symbol of the crane. The crane is often used in Japanese wedding ceremonies because cranes are known for very living long lives and is intended to symbolize happiness and good fortune. We think that's a cool visual for anyone trying to live according to God's plan of happiness.

Nurture 育成

This point of emphasis holds an ideal that a woman should strive to nurture children in love and righteousness as equal partners with her husband. The lettering is set in pretty English lettering and in Japanese Kanji characters, naturally, as if the crane itself wasn't cute enough.
