Jesus at His Second Coming T-Shirt

A simple, modern depiction of the Savior in a red robe. The meaning of the red robe is from the New Testament when Jesus is said to be wearing the color of those who have trod the wine-vat, a reference to the color of the garments after crushing grapes in the process of making wine. "Jesus at His Coming" was designed by Joe Pemberton for Nauvoo Supply Co.

Designer's statement: 

While it's not rare to see paintings of the Savior in red at the Second Coming, they are often depictions of with Jesus arriving in power, attended by angels sounding their trumpets. That kind of powerful imagery is visual equivalent of a full orchestra, however, I wanted to portray a more quiet power fo the Savior as if in a private moment of thought before the moment. More of a cello solo, before the full orchestra.

The hymn, "Come, Ye Children of the Lord" is about the joy the Saints will feel when the Lord comes to reign.

When our fears shall flee away!

About the shirt /

The unisex soft-style t-shirt puts a new spin on casual comfort. Made from very soft materials, this tee is 100% cotton for solid colors. Heather colors and sports grey include polyester. The shoulders have twill tape for improved durability. There are no side seams. The collar is made with ribbed knitting to prevent curling damage.
