Subscription Details & FAQ

When do issues ship?

Issues release bi-monthly throughout the year. Digital subscribers receive download links on release day. Print subscribers receive shipments within 3-5 business days of release, arriving approximately 1-2 weeks before general retail availability.

What if I start mid-year?

Your subscription begins with the next upcoming issue and includes all subsequent issues for a full year (6 total issues). For example, if you subscribe in March, you'll receive the remaining issues through the calendar year plus enough to total 6 issues. You won't miss any content.

Can I gift a subscription?

Absolutely. During checkout, you can specify a recipient's shipping address. We'll include a gift note if you'd like. Gift subscriptions are perfect for birthdays, holidays, or celebrating a fellow sci-fi enthusiast.

What about international shipping?

Currently, print and premium subscriptions ship to US addresses only. International customers can purchase digital subscriptions or individual digital issues. We're exploring international shipping for future subscription periods.

How does renewal work?

Subscriptions cover one year (6 issues) and do NOT auto-renew. Approximately 6 weeks before your subscription ends, we'll send a renewal invitation with the option to continue for another year. No surprise charges—you're always in control.

Can I cancel or pause?

Because subscriptions are pre-paid for the full year, we don't offer mid-term cancellations. However, we do offer flexibility: you can pause shipping for one issue (for example, if you're traveling) or change your shipping address anytime by contacting us.

What if an issue is damaged in shipping?

We'll replace it immediately at no charge. Just email us a photo of the damaged issue within 14 days of delivery, and we'll send a replacement. Your satisfaction matters to us.

Do back issues count toward my subscription?

Subscriptions include only future issues from your start date. However, if you'd like to catch up on previous issues, we offer bundle discounts when you purchase past issues alongside a new subscription—just add both to your cart.
